Strategy is the style. Narrative is the result.
I'm Nakiah Elbert, costume designer, visual strategist, and founder of Off Script. For over a decade I've built visual narratives on professional film and TV sets, for brands, and in the spaces people inhabit. That experience taught me one thing clearly: every identity is already communicating. The question is whether it's saying what you intend.
Off Script exists to close that gap.
Every set, shoot, and space led here.
Studio. Visual direction for brands, shoots, and productions.
Voice. Speaking and workshops on identity and presence.
Echo. Interior styling for spaces that need a stronger story.
How I Work
Every project moves through the same four stages of the Off Script Lifecycle.
01. Table Read. Identifying exactly what the current visuals are saying before deciding what they should say.
02. Posture. Brainstorming new ideas and defining the path to deliver a new script to the world.
03. Action. The physical shift. All ideas become one intentional, visible result.
04. Last Looks. The final edit. A meticulous sweep to ensure every element resonates before going live.
